The Richardson requires a credit card guarantee to secure all bookings. Valid credit card details must be provided when completing the credit card form. All care must be taken to ensure that the information provided to the hotel is correct.
An email confirmation will be sent to you, when your reservation is confirmed. A valid email address should also be provided and care must be taken to ensure that the information provided on the reservation form is correct. The Richardson Hotel & Spa reserves the right to reject any booking if at any time the information provided fails to meet these terms and conditions.
Rates: All prepayable accommodation rates quoted on our web site www.therichardson.com.au are inclusive of taxes, charges and surcharges. However, settlement of incidentals by credit card attracts a 2% transaction fee. Payments by cash or EFTPOS do not attract transaction fees.
Payment: On arrival at the hotel, guests must present a personal photo identification and a valid credit card for payment. The Richardson welcomes the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and JCB. Accommodation payment is due at check in.
Settlement of accounts via credit card attracts a transaction fee, the current fee is 1.65%. Payments by cash or EFTPOS do not attract transaction fees.
Opus Restaurant, The Conservatory Cafe and The Spa: We strongly recommend that reservations for dining and for spa treatments are made at the time of booking your hotel accommodation.
Cancellation/Non-Arrival: The Richardson will accept cancellations made by 2.00pm local time up to 48 hours prior to the reserved date of arrival. For cancellations after this time or failure to arrive on the reserved date, charges equal to one night's accommodation will apply. In the case of non-arrival the entire reservation will then be cancelled.
Opus Restaurant has a specific dress code from 5.30pm daily. The ambience of Opus Restaurant lends itself to occasions and celebrations. Smart dress is required. We recommend a minimum of collared shirt and trousers for gentlemen. Management reserves the right to refuse entry based on consideration of the dress code.
Management also reserves the right of admission to the hotel property and facilities.
