Our promise is that the accommodation prices offered on The Richardson Hotel & Spa website (www.therichardson.com.au) are the best available anywhere online. If you find a lower room rate anywhere online, we will match it and give you a further 10% discount.

If you should find a better rate online, you can make a claim to us within 24 hours of making your booking. Simply complete the Claim Form below and we will be in contact with you within three business days of receiving your claim.


For your claim to be valid under Our Best Rate Promise, it must satisfy all of our terms and conditions listed below - "Terms & Conditions”:

  1. A claim must be submitted on the prescribed form within 24 hours after making the initial reservation through therichardson.com.au and at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival. Our Best Rate Promise does not apply to any reservation made within 48 hours of arrival. The initial reservation means the original reservation made on our website and does not include modified or cancelled reservations.

  2. Our Best Rate Promise is not applicable to any reservations made on other websites and we do not accept any responsibility for any charges incurred with other site reservations or their cancellation.

  3. The better rate that you claim is available on another web site must be bookable, not just an advertised or promoted rate, which do not qualify. Our Best Rate Promise applies only to rates found online. Negotiated corporate rates, group rates or other rates that are not available to the general public do not qualify. The Richardson Hotel reserves the right to refuse a claim if the availability of the better rate is not able to be confirmed and verified by a third party.

  4. The better rate you found online and on which you base your claim must be for the same room type, same amenities, rate type, number of guests, dates, length of stay and must be quoted in Australian dollars.

  5. A claim can only be submitted for Our Best Rate Promise on the hotels specific Claim Form. You must fully complete the form and agree to the Terms & Conditions, before submitting your claim. A claim will be processed and responded to within three business days after our receipt of the claim.

  6. We reserve the right and at our sole discretion to decide on the validity of any claim meeting the Terms and Conditions of Our best Rate Promise. Any dispute is subject to the laws of Western Australia.

  7. The Richardson may at any time change, alter or discontinue Our Best Rate Promise programme without any prior notice.
